Position Description

This is a remote position

Duties

  • Develop compelling PR strategy for the target regions, seeking high-level placements in media (digital, print and social) to influence priority audiences;
  • Coordinate all relevant public relations activities;
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts;
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests;
  • Maintain extensive media contact database;
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a regular basis;
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships;
  • Build relationships with Founders, Community Builder Leads (Regional), using them as thought leaders to grow brand awareness in the region;
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting travel, hospitality exchange adoption and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies surrounding them.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of working experience in public relations;
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns;
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material in a tactful and diplomatic fashion;
  • Excellent research skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Expectations/Commitment

  • 5 hours per Week
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) outline in the PR Strategy of the organization
  • At least 3 months commitment
  • Project based would be considered
